Migrating infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform
Edebé, a publishing group specialized in educational content, emerged in the early 1980s as a successor to the historical Editorial Don Bosco. Textbooks and children’s and young adults’ literature are its main lines of business placing it among the main companies in the education sector in our country.
A pioneer in the creation of multimedia materials for more than a decade, with the arrival of the School 2.0 Plan Edebé launches a program for the creation of educational content adapting to new digital media.
The evolution and growth that they have experienced over the years, has involved the approach of the migration of their architecture to the cloud in order to guarantee the autonomous action of the systems, growing and decreasing to adapt to the demand for resources at every turn.
The platform hosts a large amount of content and allows to manage up to 500,000 concurrent users.
Edebé has increased its sales and presence in Spanish-speaking countries in Europe and Latin America. Over the first year of operation Edebé has grown by 100, doubling the number of users, with the same levels of service and quality.
